News article: Gefährliches Wasser (Jungle World)

My article on the Flint water crisis and why the infrastructure investment plan recently announced by the White House is unlikely to alleviate any of the infrastructural inequalities in the US has been published. Mexico City’s water crisis – Recommended article from The Guardian Cities

Watts follows Mexico City’s piped water from the dams of the Cutzamala system to the domestic tap, then down the drain as it is converted to sewage and pumped towards the agricultural region of Tula, Hidalgo. Though dating from late 2015, this rich and well-written article is still worth reading as it highlights the enormous challenges Mexico City is facing with respect to water, and the social contestations over current regimes of public water policy. A Spanish translation is also available.
