For the Urban Political Podcast, Felicitas Kübler and I spoke with fellow Terra-R network members Antonie Schmiz, Gala Nettelbladt, Valentin Domann and Daniel Mullis about our research on authoritarian urbanism and the current situation in Germany. In episode #75, recorded back in December 2023, we examine current dynamics of the radical right from a geographical perspective that reaches beyond simplistic urban-rural and East-West attributions. We address the political and analytical relevance of urban space for research on the radical right, antifascist counter-geographies, as well as ethical responsibilities and future challenges for academia and civil society.
